In-Character Category Rules, Regulations & Usage:

To ensure proper usage of the in-character category of our discord, it is required that all who participate within this category comply not only with the Infinity Gaming Community Rules & Guidelines but also with the following rules stated below.

Failure to comply with the rules stated below will result in in-game punishments such as warns, bans, etc.

1.0 - General Rules:

  • 1.1. All content within this category is to remain completely in-character. All pieces of content (i.e. Posts, Pictures, Videos, etc.) can be used in-character to further, continue or expand on such roleplay.

  • 1.2. Unless the post is being made anonymously, all posts must have the name of the character making such post in bold (i.e. Jackson Bennet ) at the beginning/top of the post itself. Anonymous posts must include "Anonymous " in replacement for what would be their character’s name.

  • 1.3. Posting on behalf of a business is permitted, though such is only to be done by the Government listed owners of such business. The post must comply with Rule 1.2 and the name of the business must be posted in bold on the following line of the posting business owner’s roleplay name.

  • 1.4. Posting on behalf of a organisation is permitted, though such is only to be done by the Government listed leaders of such organisation. Such also must comply with Rule 1.2 .

2.0 - City Messageboard Rules:

  • 2.1. The City message board is for posting messages and messages only - though reactions to posts are permitted using the discord emoji reaction feature. All photos should be posted in the City Instagram channel, complying with the Rule Section 3.0 stated below.

  • 2.2. If a message is considered to be a private email between two characters, such must state the sender’s character name on the first line and the receiver’s on the second line, following the format in this example: "Sender: Jackson Bennet " on the first line and "Receiver: Felix Kohler " on the second line following. All information contained in such email is only to be considered known by the ‘sender’ and the ‘receiver’ of such email.

  • 2.3. For a post to be considered in-character email between two individuals the post must be sent in some form of email structure. This means leading the message with the receiver’s name (i.e. “Hello Jackson Bennet”, “Dear Jackson Bennet”) and also include a signature or sender (i.e. “Kind Regards, Felix Kohler”, “From Felix Kohler”). Exceptions to such would only occur if the post is formatted stated in Rule 2.2 .

  • 2.4. Government strongly recommends the use of the City Messageboard’s emailing system over the use of private discord direct messages to ensure information is kept in-character, removing possible claims of ‘meta-gaming’ such information.
