    Yes. I have been apart of many Police RP teams and up to the rank of chief superintendent as the head of detectives and other specialist units like SRT.

Ever since i was young i always had a desire to serve my community and do my best to serve our great country. And this passion still continues to this day.
I joined the militarily with my brother after my last year of high school and did 4 years in the infantry. I then joined another government agency that allowed me to continue my passion of serving the Australian people. During this time i completed a Batchelors in computer science and a master of Geospatial Science. Working for this Government agency i was able to travel the world to unique places and i gained a great understanding of the political and security landscape both in Australia and globally.

I have since retired from this Government agency to settle down in a single location and be closer to my family. My brother Frazer Hammer recommended to me i join the NSW police force and i hope this will be a great new chapter in my life.

  • Why do you want to be a part of the New South Wales Police Force?

I want to continue my passion of serving the community and this role will allow me to fulfil this desire and continue to grow the skills i have developed over my career.

  • What strengths can you bring to the New South Wales Police Force? (Ex: Communication, Fast Learner)

I have learnt over my time in various fields how to effectively communicate clearly and concisely. I am a fast learner and very adaptable to unique situations. I thrive in a team environment although I am capable of taking on individual challenges. I have experience in leadership positions and this gives me the insight into the importance of following orders and chain of command irrespective of your position.

  • What area of personal improvement do you believe you could work on during your career?

I have a growth mindset and would like to continue to improve in all aspects of both my private and professional life. That being said, specifically, a career with the NSW police will let me focus on improving my relations with disadvantaged individuals within the community and i would like to improve my ability to help those who need it.

  • *Have you had any interactions with members of the New South Wales Police Force and if so, were those interactions positive or negative?

I am close with my brother Frazer who has risen to the rank of commissioner. And he sets a great example of what it means to serve the community within the Police. All my interactions with the NSW police have been positive.

  • How would you show professionalism and integrity while you are on duty?

Through my experience working in the global security sector i have learnt to understand the importance of integrity and professionalism and will always do my utmost to display this to both the community and the team. It is important to treat everyone as equals no matter their rank, position or weather they have made mistakes.

  • How would you display safe working behaviours while you are on duty?

I understand the importance of staying safe especially in the high risk environment of policing. The most important aspect in my view to staying safe in this workplace is working effectively as a team with good communication.

  • As part of the police application process, a criminal history and licence status check is carried out to confirm your suitability and this will be carried out prior to you being inducted as a probationary constable. Concealing information about your criminal history can result in immediate denial of your application. Have you ever received any infringement notices directly from a police officer and have you ever been arrested, had licences revoked, served a time of imprisonment or otherwise had bail conditions placed on you to be of good behaviour?
