Skylar grew up with a split education. She started her early schooling years in Australia, before moving to America when she was eight. Considering her environment, Skylar was incredibly dedicated to her studies and actually made her education a priority . However in an effort to reduce costs, when she was fourteen her foster family decided to switch to “homeschooling”.

Her families version of homeschooling, was having the kids teach themselves, and hoping for the best. It was up to Skylar to utilise the public libraries to source books, and to guide herself through the curriculum. Skylar however was surprisingly academic and able to ease through most of her schooling years, and still graduate with relatively high grades.

However with all the extra time that she had from not being at school growing up, she found herself getting into mischief, and being reckless. This was the gateway that lead her to fall into the wrong crowd of people. They opened her eyes up to a whole new world, and took her down the rabbit hole of poor choices

Personality: Describe your character’s personality traits, both positive and negative. What are their strengths and weaknesses?

  • Skylar’s personality is a little complex. There’s a lot of layers there, and not a lot that really make sense. Her upbringing made her ability to process her emotions a little difficult. She has this aching necessity to please others and is often trying her best to make everyone else around her happy, even if it is to the detriment of herself. Her brain, although constantly working at a high rate of speed, is very selective in what it allows her to physically communicate. She overthinks and over calculates everything she does, and wastes time thinking about every possible outcome before it happens. Her personality can be a little inconsistent, and awfully hard to read. She does well at masking herself and portraying herself as something that she is not. Deep down however she is empathetic, patient and incredibly understanding.

Hobbies and Interests: What does your character enjoy doing in their free time? Any specific hobbies, interests, or passions? (Min: 50 words)

  • Aside from her natural proclivity towards crime, Skylar does have a number of other interests. She enjoys the car scene and has spent time previously investing and maintaining her own variety of vehicles. When she wasn’t absorbed by Gang related activities, she was often seen racing out on the streets or hosting car meets for like minded individuals. She at one point was apart of a racing crew that took over the streets of San Andreas late at night. Her future goals are to get this back up and running, and hopefully have the street once again filled with racers.

Goals and Ambitions: What are your character’s long-term goals and ambitions in the city? What do they hope to achieve? (Min: 75 words)

  • Now that Skylar has returned to San Andreas after taking a period of time away, she hopes to pick up from exactly where she left off. Her ambitions are to formulate new networks throughout the city, and continue to grow and solidify her Gang’s hold in the city. There is a lot that has changed since she has been home, so learning who is who and what is what is the first on her list, prior to making any strategic moves.

Friends and Allies: Who are your character’s friends or allies in the city? Are there any specific groups or factions they are affiliated with? (Min: 25 words per person/group if applicable)

Skylar isn’t necessarily known for having a lot of “friends” ; she tends to prefer keeping people as acquaintances, business partners or just transactional. However she does have one person in her life that is undeniably irreplaceable. Her best friend James Baxter has been in her life since they were kids. They grew up living the same experiences in life, and going through the same struggles. Their bond has always been something so unique, as they have always been so incredibly similar.

Baxter has always had this energy that grounds Skylar, and a mentality that really pulls her away from making stupid decisions. Having Baxter in her life has meant that she has been able to see a different side of life; a life where she feels valued, respected and truly herself . Baxter was able to prove to her that not everyone that comes into her life, walks away and if they do then they just aren’t strong enough. He has been by her side for over ten years now, and together they are still tackling life together.

Enemies and Rivals: Does your character have any enemies or rivals, and what is the source of their conflicts? (Min: 50 words per person or group if applicable)

  • Look, there probably are a few people that don’t like Skylar, but there are no issues or hostility that are currently active

Criminal Record: Has your character been involved in any criminal activities in the past? If so, what kind of activities have they been involved in? (Min: 50 words if applicable)

Well… not in official sense - She still has a clean criminal record (somehow) however I’m sure she is sitting at the top of the polices “hit list”

Skylar’s journey down the dark path all started when she was younger. She was raised in the rough side of town with a foster family that were only in it for the extra cash benefits they got for housing another kid. Growing up in that kind of environment was tough. There was a lot of mental and physiological abuse, through forms of manipulation and neglect. Naturally the brain is programmed to feel and react to certain emotions, however Skylar was programmed not to not feel or react at all. It created confusion for her, and she grew up never really understanding how to process her feelings. The only thing that was able to free her from her comatose state of mind, was the feelings of adrenaline and thrill.

This feeling slowly became an addiction, a high that she refused to come down from… it was the perfect coping mechanism

Things started off small. She started by taking money from her family’s wallet, and breaking into neighbors homes just to snoop. That then grew to actually robbing those houses, and stealing cars just for the thrill. Eventually the high that she was chasing, became harder and harder to reach. The small jobs were no longer enough, and the thrill now only came from higher risk jobs. This feeling pushed Skylar down the dark and twisted path of the criminal underworld. The world of drugs, guns, bank robberies and kidnappings. This whole new world wasn’t so far removed from the one that she had left, it was just on a bigger scale.

This has now been Skylar’s life for the last eight years, and somehow she has never been caught…. It’s only a matter of time though. Now that she is back in San Andreas where her taste for the criminal underworld began, it’s only a matter of time before what she left behind catches back up with her.

Personal Beliefs: What are your character’s personal beliefs, values, morals and ethics? Are they religious or politically inclined? (Min: 50 words)

Most people have a very cookie-cutter outlook on religion and beliefs; however, Skylar’s approach is a little less socially accepted.

Her views fall slightly into the lines of Satanism - but not entirely. Whilst most people would worship Satan, Skylar’s devotion is to the “The Angel of Death”. She believes that death is not eternal, and that there is a realm of the un-dead. She actively partakes in sacrifices, offerings and specific spiritual rituals, however, does not publicly advocate her beliefs.

Aside from spiritual beliefs and religions, Skylar has a very diverse concept of morals and what they mean to her. Generally, morals are the standards of behavior or the principles between what is right and wrong, however the idea of right and wrong is very much up for interpretation. Some may see Skylar’s beliefs as ‘wrong’ or morally not appropriate, however this does not reflect the entirety of Skylar’s character.

Skylar’s empathy far exceeds any other value that she may hold though. Her ability to compartmentalize and to justify her own actions as ‘empathetic’ however, is slightly problematic. Even when something she does is ‘wrong’ it’s always justified as being better than another potential outcome and often viewed as the most empathetic approach. Maybe this is just part of her delusion? Maybe she does just have a skewed moral compass? Maybe she is just a sociopath and doesn’t actually realize? Who knows… Guess we will find out?

Relationships: Is your character in a romantic relationship or involved with anyone romantically? If so, who is their partner, and how did they meet? (Min: 50 words if applicable)

  • No relationships - too much drama

Physical Description: Describe your character’s physical appearance, including height, weight, hair colour, eye colour, and distinctive features. (Min: 50 words)

  • Skylar’s appearance has been something that has evolved with her journey. As time has passed, and after many different lived experiences, her appearance has merely become the product of her surroundings. Once a bright, optimistic, and lively person; now a dark haired, heavily tattooed soulless shell.

Current Description:

  • 175cm Tall
  • Currently with long black hair
  • Light coloured eyes
  • Freckles
  • Tanned complexion

Backstory: Provide a detailed backstory of your character, including any significant life events, turning points, or experiences that have shaped who they are. (Min: 100 words)

Most of Skylar’s early years have already been unpacked in some of the other components of this biography, and to avoid too much repitition we won’t revisit much of her early years. However it is important to realise that a large portion of Skylar’s personality and personal attributes were formed during this time….

From the start of Skylar’s journey, she has always battled to navigate her emotions and thoughts in a way that made sense to her. The constant confusion, and battle with her own mind left her seeking anything that made it easier to detach from reality. Thrill-seeking and adrenaline rushes, soon enough became the answer to her problems. Her numbing comatose state, replaced by an electrical current of euphoric and natural high was far more attractive than anything else she had ever experienced. However, what started off as something small in scale, eventually escalated into something so much bigger than she could imagine. The criminal path that kept her high, eventually became an invisible shackle and chain for what would keep her bound for the rest of her life. The high was an addiction, and enough was just never quite enough.

When Skylar turned eighteen, she decided that it was time to shed her life in America and explore her roots back in Australia. All her life, she had been fighting a battle against herself to truly find out where she belonged and who she was. Her home Country in Australia was something that often felt like a distant dream, and something that was always made to feel like it was so far out of reach. Her foster family had always been protective of what they shared regarding her life in Australia, as well as the truth of her real parents. There were always so many more questions, than there were answers…

The one thing that Skylar could remember growing up was the gang that ran out of the streets she grew up on. She remembered her elderly Nanna taking care of her throughout the day whilst her mum and dad spent their time pretending like they weren’t a part of the gang too. Skylar was too young to really understand back then, and was always told by those that raised her that what she remembered was just the product of her imagination. After years of having these memories being suppressed, Skylar decided that it was time to investigate things for herself.

Who were her parents? and what happened to them?

From the ages of sixteen to eighteen, her life was consumed with investigations and research into her parents’ lives. Everything was so protected and secretive that she struggled to find out much information on the identity of her parents. However after reading through article after article she was able to find the crew that she remembered from when she grew up. The crew that she found ran out of the south side of San Andreas, and looked exactly how she remembered them in her dreams.

Through connections, and networking Skylar managed to get in contact with the crew in San Andreas and they knew exactly who she was when she reached out. They had been expecting her for some time and knew that her true roots would call her back to where she belonged. Her parents had both been members of this crew, however had been taken out by a rival gang that had come to contest the turf.

For the first time in a long time, Skylar finally felt like she knew who she was, and that the questions of her past all finally had answers that made sense. The crew before her was the closest thing that she had ever felt to home. They were unapologetically honest, and laid everything out on the table for Skylar to understand. They could see a lost soul in need of guidance, and opened their arms to help guide her back to where she belonged - with them.

They guided a new path for her, and forged a new sense of purpose for her future. The fast paced lifestyle that they lived and the inevitable danger that loomed for them daily was enough to keep Skylar hooked and content for many year

After what seemed like one big blur, Skylar found herself six years later, leading the crew back from darkness, remotely back in the United states. Her crew fell victim to a tactical operation launched by the Federal government, which forced a lot of her crew to disband and go into hiding. Skylar managed to deflect some of the heat away from her crew, by reallocating business into the American market and moving assets offshore temporarily whilst her crew tried to settle the smoke.

The following months were focused on coordinating strategic movements ahead of the San Andreas Federal government and establishing a more resilient foundation for the crew to live off when she returned

Now that Skylar has returned back to San Andreas, she plans on bringing back her crew from the shadows and making their presence known once again. With her past lurking in the shadows and her future uncertain, only time will reveal the true extent of her efforts to protect her crew, and her name in the criminal underworld

Current Situation: What is your character’s current situation within the state of San Andreas? Are they new to the state, or have they been there for a while? (Min: 50 words)

  • Skylar used to live in San Andreas awhile ago but had moved back to the United States after things started to get heated with the cops and her Gang Despite living remotely, Skylar remained Loyal to the gang, and invested her time in helping it grow. Through the use of encrypted communication channels and secure networks, she was still able to organise deals and direct heists to ensure they stayed ahead of the cops. Even with a lack of physical presence, her influence was heavily relied on. With the cops persistent lingering, a large portion of her Gang continued laying low and keeping to themselves. With Skylar’s return, she hopes to pick up where she left off and hopefully bring her Gang back from the shadows
